Excel 88 is sold as a concentrate. The same bottle covers every line below.

| Laundry pre-wash | 1 : 10 | Apply to stains before washing (avoid satin, silk and soft leather). |
| Carpets (shampoo machine) | 1 : 30 | Vacuum well first; follow the machine’s instructions. Spot removal: 1 : 10 with a spray bottle. |
| Flooring — linoleum, tile, porcelain, ceramic, cement | 1 : 30 | In the mop bucket. Heavy wax build-up: 1 : 10, let set 5–10 minutes, mop dry. |
| Windows | 2 caps : 1 quart | Spray on, wipe dry — streak free. |
| Aluminum, stainless steel, chrome | 1 : 20 | Spray on, buff dry with a cloth or power buffer. |
| Rust removal | 1 : 5 | Spray on, let set 5 minutes, wipe clean; a scotch pad may be used. |
| Body shop — urethane off glass, hands, upholstery, carpets | 1 : 10 | Spray on, let set 5 minutes, wipe with a clean cloth. |
| Degreasing boats, motorcycles, engines, parts | 1 : 5 | Spray on a warm motor, leave 10 minutes, wash off with a pressure washer or hose. Heavy parts: submerge 20–30 minutes. |
| Restaurant exhaust vents and grills | 1 : 5 | Dip tank one hour, remove and rinse. Grills: spray on a warm (not hot) surface, wait 5–10 minutes, rinse or wipe. |
| Concrete driveways | 1 : 10 | Spray on, brush with a strong bristle brush, allow 5–10 minutes, hose off. Not for asphalt. |
| Jewelry — diamond, gold, silver | 1 : 10 | Immerse five minutes, scrub with an old toothbrush, rinse and buff dry. |
